Centralisation of Data, key to India Incs success

The non availability of a centralised nutraceutical data base is a major source of trouble for those interested in availing data in Nutraceuticals and traditional medicines.

According to experts this has been the bane for India’s medical and health industry at large, not just nutraceuticals. The experts observed that the sheer volume of data and its availability through non-centralised and diverse sources is proving to be a major hurdle.
Dr Tandon of RTI International observed, “ A centralised data bank could go a long way in enabling reserachers, academia and the industry in developing more high end, nutraceutical products. The availability of data in a centralised bank would be a game changer as it would automatically give a push towards high-end research for developing products comprising multi-isolated Nutraceutical extracts.”
Dr Tandon further added that there was an urgent need to use AI, Multi Verse and the cloud to create a centralised and permanently available data bank. He further urged the industry to invest in data collection and cataloguing.
He further added that organisations such as Nutrify Today could play a major role in creating the much needed data base.
Amit Srivastava, Chief Catalyst, Nutrify Today agreed with Dr Tandon and added, “ We are converging with Government agencies as well as the industry and academia to help create this much needed data base. So far, we are moving in the right direction.”
